What is Florida’s Panama City Beach like?

I have heard many things about Florida not only from word of mouth. But also from the news and to be honest it does kind of seem to scare me. Since I have children and especially in todays economy I am going to do some research on different places through out the United States. I look at it as my way of helping others who are in the process of planning a vacation with their families. I have gathered all of my research from the internet as I have never been to Panama City Beach Florida. Known more for being a tourist town Panama City Beach Florida is located on the panhandle of Northwest Florida on beautiful St. Andrews Bay and the Gulf of Mexico. Though it is a tourist town it is known for its friendly atmosphere providing an attractive living environment with an extensive variety of tastes and life styles. The most obvious is that Panama City Beach, Florida has to offer is: pleasant climate, beautiful housing opportunities, fishing and water sports, arts and entertainment, while offering a pleasing small town environment for raising a family. Which is something that is so hard to find today. Panama City Beach, Florida has an overwhelming sense of beauty, from the white sand beaches and the sparkling water of the gulf stream to St Andrew’s Bay. Panama City Beach has over twenty five parks along with two full service marinas offering the residents as well as visitors a variety of activities at their fingertips. Panama City Beach, Florida offers an extensive variety of restaurants. For the twenty one and over crowd Panama City Beach, Florida has an attractive night life. As well as accomodations for everyones price range. You may think that Panama City Beach, Florida is just a place where tourists go during the summer. Think again, Panama City Beach, Florida is also a tourist spot for an older crowd. During winter Panama City Beach, Florida is home to Snow Birds. Snow Birds are people who live in Panama City Beach, Florida during in the winter but live in colder climate areas like Canada and up North like New York, Minnesota. Places where theres always alot of snow. Of course no beach town is complete without the ever so popular Spring Break. Every year hundreds of college students as well as High School students head for some fun in the sun. From what i have learned so far is that Panama City Beach is quickly becoming the place to be in Florida for Spring Break. The Real Estate in Panama City seems to be reasonably priced for both renting and buying. The school system also seems very promising for the area. I would have to conclude this article that perhaps I was wrong to be so quick to pass on judgement of Panama City. From doing just a little research I opened my eyes to planning a vacation to somewhere that I would have never considered for myself and my family.
