Variety in Florida Beach Villas

What comes to mind when you hear the phrase Florida beach villa? Perhaps an extravagant stone building with beautiful landscape, behind closed gates in a sunny spot. Although there are many villas that exist very similar to the one I just described, there is actually quite a variety of Florida beach villas. Most Florida beach villas are rental properties for retirees, tourists, and vacationers, with a few exceptions to those who can afford to own a villa. Florida beach villas are more often than not directly on the water, the back yard is literally the beach. For this reason, these properties are obviously more pricy than inland properties. Florida beach villas are perfect for families, especially large ones, seeking a relaxing vacation. You have the privacy of your own place, minus the bureaucracy of a hotel, and it is much more convenient having multiple bathrooms, your own kitchen, etc. Another plus is obviously the space that a villa offers which a hotel simply cannot no matter how big the room. Florida beach villas also make for great summer homes. Many people may find it too distracting to live so close to a beach, also they may want to be closer to the city. But having a villa as a summer home gives the perfect balance of being able to stay there when you want, but also having a permanent residence. Unlike hotels, where you are gambling when you book your stay, villas are sure to please. Unless you have stayed there previously, when you book a hotel room, you are unsure of the service, the quality of the hotel, and all of its amenities. There is such a wide variety of hotels that you can never really be sure what you are paying for, no matter how many reviews you have read. Fortunately, there is not really such a thing as a low-class villa. Because of the high competitiveness, except for very few exceptions, Florida beach villas are almost always extremely upscale. You will rarely find a run down, dirty villa. And although it is sometimes nice to have the service a hotel provides (bellman, room service) it is more often nice to do it yourself and not have to deal with guest service issues. Florida beach villas are obviously for the more well-off families, but are well worth the money. Florida beach villas are priced anywhere from $200/night to $2000/night, all depending on the location, number of rooms, company you book through, etc. Of course, $2000/night are the most extravagant and lavish villas, you can get a very luxurious villa for right around $600/night depending on the location you are looking for. Downsides to Florida beach villas are minimal but there are a few things that hotels provide that villas can’t. For example, the safety of a hotel, often residents feel safer in an unfamiliar place when they are surrounded by a lot of people and in a more public setting. Villas often have a descent amount of land and are obviously very luxurious, causing residents to maybe not feel as safe. Also, when staying in a hotel, if something goes wrong (maintenance) or you don’t know your way around the area, they may be of great help to you. In a villa, however, you are completely on your own. As with anything, travelers need to do their research when looking at staying in a villa. Some good sites to do research are.. www.viennasquare.com, www.floridadreamvillas.net, www.florida-villa.com.
